For MSPs and telecom resellers building an AI voice business, Viirtue is our recommended choice. Existing Viirtue partners can begin with one AI Voice Agent, without a minimum agent-volume commitment, and use ViiBE to support the commercial side of the service. That combination matters when you need to turn your first deployment into a repeatable, billable offering.
SkySwitch announced its AI Agent launch on September 1, 2026. Its arrival gives partners another product to evaluate, but the practical questions go well beyond whether an agent can answer a call. What must you commit before making your first sale? Who can maintain the agent? How does it connect to the phone system? And what software will you need to quote and bill the service? SkySwitch launch announcement.
This is Viirtue's comparison, written for partners evaluating those operating decisions. Pricing analysis uses the SkySwitch partner pricing presentation supplied to Viirtue and reviewed on September 10, 2026. Negotiated terms may differ.
SkySwitch AI Agent pricing starts with a $279 monthly commitment
The first number to examine is the total monthly commitment.
The supplied SkySwitch pricing slide shows a $99 monthly Launch subscription, plus a commitment to 1,000 AI minutes at $0.18 each. Together, those charges total $279 per month.
Here is the complete tier comparison shown in that presentation:
| SkySwitch partner pricing | Launch | Starter | Scale |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monthly subscription | $99 | $199 | $249 |
| Agent capacity | Up to 10 | Up to 50 | Up to 100 |
| Committed AI minutes | 1,000 | 5,000 | 10,000 |
| Rate per committed minute | $0.18 | $0.16 | $0.14 |
| Overage rate per minute | $0.20 | $0.18 | $0.14 |
| Total monthly committed cost | $279 | $999 | $1,649 |

The entry tier includes capacity for up to 10 agents. That is a capacity allowance, rather than a requirement to deploy 10 agents. The issue for a partner starting small is the subscription and usage commitment attached to that allowance.
With Viirtue, existing partners can add a single AI Voice Agent without a minimum agent-volume requirement. Obtain the applicable Viirtue wholesale rates for your account when comparing the dollar cost of the two offers, a one-agent starting option does not mean the service is free.
What the commitment means for a small deployment
Consider a hypothetical partner running one after-hours agent on SkySwitch's Launch tier. Assume the quoted monthly commitment applies without promotional credits or negotiated changes, and use billed AI minutes rather than raw call duration.
| Billed AI minutes used in the month | Launch subscription plus AI usage cost | Effective cost per used AI minute |
|---|---|---|
| 250 | $279 | $1.116, or about $1.12 |
| 500 | $279 | $0.558, or about $0.56 |
| 1,000 | $279 | $0.279, or about $0.28 |
| 1,500 | $379 | About $0.25 |
At 1,500 minutes, the calculation is $279 + (500 × $0.20) = $379. These figures exclude other charges and are an illustration of the supplied SkySwitch pricing, not a Viirtue savings estimate.
That is why a headline per-minute rate is an incomplete buying guide. A light-use pilot can carry a much higher effective rate once the monthly commitment is divided by actual usage.
A partner with enough demand to consume the bundle will get more value from it. A partner validating the first customer has a different problem: covering a recurring commitment while learning what customers will buy. Viirtue's approach lets an existing partner choose a one-agent rollout that fits its sales plan. Ask for a written comparison of that deployment's full cost before accepting a larger pooled package.
Judge "native" by the work your team has to do
SkySwitch markets its AI Agent as a native part of its UCaaS offering. Its product page says the agent can receive a number or register as a PBX extension. Those are relevant connectivity capabilities. They do not, by themselves, establish how unified the administration experience is. SkySwitch AI Agent product page.
The same discipline applies to the phrase "cloud-native." An architecture label does not establish customer permissions, the number of management screens, or whether retail billing is included. A separate portal alone also does not establish that a cloud architecture claim is false.
For a reseller, the useful evaluation is operational:
| Workflow | What a complete demonstration should establish |
|---|---|
| Agent setup | Where the partner creates the agent and maintains the customer's configuration |
| Customer maintenance | Which changes an authorized customer can make without opening a partner support ticket |
| Phone-system connection | Every step required for inbound routing, transfers, schedules, and fallback behavior |
| Commercial operation | How the accepted offer becomes a rated, accurate customer invoice |
If the partner must administer the agent in one environment and configure the phone system in another, that is additional operational work to evaluate. How much work depends on the actual implementation. A polished conversation demo does not answer that question.
Viirtue's value proposition spans the service and the business around it: AI Voice Agents, communications, and ViiBE. That is the scope an MSP should use when comparing platforms. For a look at how other AI-first vendors stack up on this same operational scope, see Viirtue vs Retell AI vs ElevenLabs.
Customer self-service must include useful controls
An AI voice agent needs maintenance after launch. Businesses change hours, prices, services, appointment rules, and the information callers need.
SkySwitch's priority-access FAQ describes an Orbit AI portal and says partners can give customers access to manage FAQs. That is a vendor statement, not an independently verified demonstration of the controls available in a current customer account. SkySwitch Orbit AI Partner FAQ.
Access to a dashboard can be useful while still leaving essential maintenance with the reseller. Reading a transcript, updating an FAQ, and changing the agent's instructions are different permissions. Ask about each one.
If customers cannot complete the routine changes their service requires, those changes become work for your team. That should affect how you price support and how many customers you can reasonably manage.
This is the standard to apply to Viirtue as well: demonstrate the actual customer role and the actual task. The stronger platform is the one that makes everyday ownership practical.
Quoting and billing: identify the product behind the promise
The same scrutiny belongs in the back office.
SkySwitch's published resources identify third-party tools in its quoting and billing ecosystem. Its documentation includes Quoter tutorials, and its own Datagate webinar explains that provider's role in the billing workflow. SkySwitch Quoter documentation, SkySwitch's Datagate billing overview.
Rev.io also describes its billing partnership with SkySwitch in a presentation hosted on SkySwitch's site. That establishes a third-party billing relationship, it does not establish today's price for a particular reseller. Rev.io and SkySwitch presentation.
"We offer quoting and billing" leaves unanswered who supplies the software, what is included, and what the partner pays.
These are commercial products with their own terms. For example, ScalePad publishes paid Quoter subscriptions. A vendor's direct list price should not be assumed to equal a SkySwitch partner's negotiated price. Quoter pricing.
Before signing, require the proposal to identify:
- Which quoting and billing products your deployment will use.
- Which licenses are included and which carry additional charges.
- Any setup fees, minimum commitments, or transaction charges.
- Who maintains the connection between the products.
- Who fixes an incorrect usage charge or a failed invoice.
SkySwitch also markets a Foundations program with billing services performed on the partner's behalf. Buyers should distinguish that managed service from the software and responsibilities in a wholesale arrangement. SkySwitch Foundations program.
The objection is straightforward: a buyer should know the full software stack and full commercial obligation before committing. A feature checklist that leaves those details out is an inadequate basis for a platform decision.
Viirtue brings AI Voice Agents into the reseller's revenue workflow
An agent creates a business opportunity when a partner can package it, sell it, deliver it, and collect payment reliably.
ViiBE is Viirtue's own quote-to-cash platform. Its usage rating workflow supports configurable monthly fees, minute bundles, and overages, with invoicing and payment workflows around the resulting charges. That gives resellers a commercial foundation for selling communications and usage-based services.
For an AI voice offering, the practical questions become familiar business decisions: What will the customer pay each month? How much usage is included? What happens above the allowance? How will those terms appear on the invoice?
Viirtue also has a production MCP Connector that allows AI Voice Agents to interact with external business systems through configured integrations. For a customer that needs the agent to take an action, such as working through a scheduling workflow, integration belongs in the buying discussion from the beginning. The available action still depends on the connected system, permissions, and configuration.
Together, these capabilities give Viirtue a strong proposition for an MSP that wants to operate the service under its own brand and manage the business around it. Evaluate that connected workflow in the demo, alongside the agent's conversation quality.
Choose Viirtue for the business you want to build
For MSPs and telecom resellers that want to start with a focused AI deployment and build a repeatable service around it, Viirtue is the stronger choice in this comparison. Its one-agent starting flexibility, ViiBE commercial workflows, and production integration capability make a concrete case for the platform.
SkySwitch may appeal to a partner already invested in its environment, particularly when that partner can use the committed minute bundle. That fit should be established through a complete workflow demonstration and a written cost breakdown.
